Workshop Calendar Thu, 09 Sep 2010 00:00:45 -0400 1440 Workshop Calendar Design Academy 6:30pm-9:00pm Are you ready to take your Creativity to an even higher level? The US Naval Academy’s slogan is Honor…Courage…Commitment and we will face our Design challenges in the same manner in this year’s new Design Academy. Over the course of the year Karen and Ursula will cover Design Elements/Principles and we will experiment with these topics on cards, tags, scrapbook layouts and altered surfaces. This class is not as focused on techniques as Creativity BootCamp, although we always have tricks up our sleeves (in fact a couple we have made up ourselves!). Our “chat sessions” this year will focus on projects we are working on and how the topics we are covering can help our designs. This will be a critique session in a warm and friendly environment involving the entire group and much can be learned from these sessions!! Lastly, we will introduce “Cards for a Cause”. Each month we will donate one of the projects made in class (or home if you wish) to a cause that is chosen by the class. This could be a person who is ill, a fundraiser etc. So sign up for the Design Academy and Fulfill YOUR Destiny!!! $26

Projects will include images from the Who's that Girl line, everyone's favorite.... Pure Innocence and the new Emma character (designed by the Pure Innocence illustrator).
